Final Fantasy IV...it's classic. If you played it back in the day, you know what I'm talking about, right? It only looks cliché today because it's the game that invented the clichés.

FFIV was actually the first game I ever wrote fanfics for. But I was twelve, so they all sucked. I couldn't unearth copies of any of them to post here and horrify the world with, so you all lucked out.

Originally posted to the Darkstar mailing list in a bunch of super-short installments. The idea came from Toastyfrog's Thumbnail Theaters, which reduced every episode of Evangelion to about ten lines (and most of it came down to "Shinji, you suck"). Boil out all the random battles and superfluous dialogue, and you get? Characters telling each other why they suck and monsters going "rar!". Or Iris on crack. Something like that. Either way, it's too stupid for me to post anywhere but my own page, and it's probably only funny if you're high or really drunk or something. (I think the only reason I keep it around is so I can look back on it and realize that my sense of humor has matured, if nothing else has.)
